jMatter Project Components

In the issue manager, we can categorize issues by component. Here is a list of currently defined components and their descriptions:

• calendar: the jmatter calendaring system
• persistence: database support, hibernate issues, etc..

• swinggui: issues with the swing view mechanism
• metasystem: issues relating to the core metadata mechanisms in jmatter
• validation
• reporting
• wizards: issues with the jmatter wizard system
• i18n and l12n
• deployment: issues relating to java web start deployment, or other deployment mechanisms
• data binding: issues relating to the ability to import/export information as xml or using anohter notation
• authorization
• authentication

• documentation: requests for additional documentation, revisions to the documentation, issues with existing documentation, etc..
• logistics: administrative requests, perhaps relating to the configuration of the issue manager, the desire for an faq, etc..
• marketing: any requests related to the jmatter.org web site, such as the request for java webstart demos. marketing-related
